This musebox is extremely sandbox-y, so there are no hard boundaries or locations.

However! These things are useful to us on an OOC level. So this post is a list of locations, areas, countries, and points of interest that definitely exist within the world of OUAB. If you have a place to add, tell us what it is and a few choice details about it - whatever you want, from a few words to a few paragraphs.

Details could include who lives there, why it's important, where it is in relation to other places, tolerance of magic, monsters, that sort of thing. Just something more than a name!

This post will also be used to update area information. For example, if a town listed on here gets destroyed by dragons, tag the appropriate comment with an update to say it was destroyed by dragons! This will help prevent confusion.

Goldenrod Kingdom

The Goldenrod Kingdom is ruled by King Altberg, Lyra's father. It's a fairly prosperous kingdom known for its military. Magic is free use and open here, though taken with a grain of salt.

Mist Forest

These woodlands that connect two villages are named for the mist that settles over them in the early morning and late evening.

The much talked-about mage, Ranmaru Kirino, lives here, in a cottage in the middle of these woods. The rumors claim he's rather hospitable to lost travelers...

There is the occasional monster around, but mostly it's just typical woodland creatures. And nobody's going to care if you use magic--it's a free forest, after all.

Salvo Village

Red's hometown, very small and pretty much ignored. Next to the Mist Forest. Notable for being extremely closed-minded and unfriendly toward magic-users. Also notable for not quite knowing which kingdom it lies in.

Risoi Kingdom (fallen)

A westerly kingdom once ruled by King Mythria, Dana's father, it's now fallen to anarchy and ruin under the rule of a dark sect of magic users.

Rebena Te Ra

The kingdom that Queen Vanille and Queen Fang live. It's a quite beautiful place, covered in flowers, and where magic users are welcome to come if nowhere else accepts them.

However, the kingdom is scared of other kingdoms invading, and destroying the lands. So, most people can't even come to Rebena Te Ra - but Vanille is actually going to see if people can be trusted yet.
